Happy Valentine's Day

Here is Evie's Valentine's Day outfit; this is one of the more unfortunate results of our most recent portrait session:

Here she is posing with the #1 chocolate bar in the country as rated by Food and Wine magazine: Christopher Elbow No. 6 Dark Rocks (dark chocolate with pop rocks in it...very interesting and yummy), which J bought me for V day: And here is the other part of my gift, balancing on my knees, a yummy box of Christopher Elbow delights. My favorite are the passion fruit caramels.

J's parents are here this weekend and so we are probably going to leave Evie with them at some point and go see that feel-good film about India that's probably going to win Best Picture this year.

Hope everyone has a Valentine's Day full of the people and things you love.

  1. The chocolates and baby look fabulous! enjoy the movie...heard it's a good one. Happy V-day!

  2. Slumdog Millionaire is an excellent, excellent film -- but it also has some very, very, VERY dark moments. It's enlightening, and affirming in some ways, but I'd hesitate to call it "feel-good." Just wanted to offer this anonymous caveat in case you really had your heart set on a happy-making movie. :-)

  3. +Jeni, thanks for the tip, we'll still go see it but it's interesting to hear that because everything I've heard about it is that it's a love story and kind of a musical, so I didn't realize it was dark.

  4. Happy Valentine's Day!

  5. Happy Valentine's Day to you both! Have a great time. Cute pics as always!

  6. YUM to the Dark Rocks....I just bookmarked it for a rainy day!

I love comments! If you ask a question, I'll probably reply in the comment thread, and I try to visit the blogs of everyone who comments.
